What is a Life Coach?

November8

A lot of my blog entries have talked about my Life Coach. As I’ve been running into friends that read my blog, they often ask what a Life Coach is. Of course, I always get excited when someone asks because having a Life Coach is something that I truly enjoy and look forward to. Naturally, I love to talk about it and that is half the reason why I started my blog.

A Life Coach is someone who helps you set goals and overcome barriers that you currently have in your life. They help you start working towards achieving those things that you daydream about having in your life. They are not a counselor, but rather someone who helps you move on to that next step in life. That was exactly what I was looking for when I hired my life coach.

When I was searching for a life coach, I started interviewing a few different coaches since I’ve never really known a lot about them. I wanted to make sure that if I was going to invest my time and money that it had to be someone that I connected with and felt excited talking to. When I met with my Life Coach for the first time, I felt like I was on fire and ready to run a 26 mile marathon when I hung up the phone. That is how I knew that I found a good match.

I meet with my life coach twice per month for one hour over the phone. I actually didn’t end up hiring someone local which was opposite of what I expected when hiring someone. I truly believe that a better match is so much better than a better location.

Check out my Life Coach. She is truly fantastic at what she does.
